Title - Trial run on new BG track cancelled

The trial run on new broad gauge track between Palani and Dindigul to check its condition was cancelled owing to shortage of loco engine here on Saturday.The trial run will be conducted on Sunday, according to sources in the Southern Railway.The Southern Railway had completed gauge conversion work between Palani and Dindigul recently.The officials had decided to conduct the trial run on Saturday.

They also released advertisements in newspapers cautioning the public not to walk on the track in this section and stay near to it between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
