Train service on Salem – Erode sector was disrupted for an hour on Wednesday night following signal failure as miscreants remove nuts and bolts from the railway track between Magudanchavadi and Salem.Following the signal failure, Yercaud Express train waited for 40 minutes and the driver informed the Magudanchavadi station master who rushed to the spot and noticed the problem. As a temporary measure, a pair of nuts and bolts was aligned to the track and train service resumed thereafter.
