Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Saturday flagged off two non-stop air-conditioned Duronto Express trains - one from Chennai Central to Madurai and another to Thiruvananthapuram.The bi-weekly Chennai Central-Madurai train will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, while the Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram trains will ply on Tuesdays and Fridays.Several state ministers, Southern Railways General Manager (in-charge) A K Mital and senior railway officials were present at the flagging-off at a function at Chennai Central railway station. | ||
