General Manager of South Western Railway and Chairman of the Zonal Official Language Implementation Committee (ZOLIC) A.K. Mital has asked officials to take the lead in implementing the official language by making the official notings in Hindi so that their subordinates felt encouraged and emulated them.He was chairing the 36th meeting of Zonal Official Language Implementation Committee(ZOLIC) held at the General Manager’s Conference Hall in Hubli recently, in which all the principal heads of departments (PHODs) of SWR Headquarters and heads of Hindi Departments of Divisions, Workshops and Construction wing participated.Mr. Mital said that the Official Language Implementation Committees played a vital role in ensuring the use of Hindi in government offices. He asked the officials to personally look into the progress of implementation of Hindi in their respective offices.Mr. Mital asked them to encourage their subordinates to use Hindi whenever possible. He asked the Rajbhasha Department officials to present the monthly and quarterly reports as per the time schedule. Earlier, while welcoming the members of ZOLIC, Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari and Controller of Stores, SWR, O.P. Khare expressed satisfaction over the implementation of the official language. Shyam Sundar Sahu, Senior Rajbhasha Adhikari of Headquarters of SWR, presented the quarterly progress report. | ||
