Title - Special trains for Mahashivratri

KANPUR: The North Central Railway administration has decided to introduce special trains for Mahashivratri on March 10. These trains will pass through Kanpur Central railway station.

Train number 04117/04118 Allahabad-Anand Vihar Terminal Kumbh special train will leave Allahabad on March 10 and reach Anand Vihar Terminus. During its onward journey on March 11, the train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminus for Allahabad. This special train will pass through Fatehpur, Kanpur, Etawah, Firozabad, Tundla, Aligarh, Khurja and Ghaziabad.

Another Kumbh special train 04127/04128 Allahabad-Anand Vihar terminus will be on tracks on March 11 while commencing its journey from Allahabad for its onward journey, the train will depart on March 12. This train will also pass through railway stations between Fatehpur and Ghaziabad.

Meanwhile, the NCR administration has decided to attach more number of bogies in a few superfast trains. This is a temporary arrangement.

One AC chair car coach will be attached to 12003/12004 New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi Express. This arrangement will remain in place till April 3. Similarly, one second class AC coach will be attached to 12427/12428 Anand Vihar Terminus-Rewa Express. This arrangement will be effective till April 4.

One second class AC coach and one third class AC coach will be added to 12439/12440 New Delhi-Ranchi Rajdhani Express. This arrangement has been done till March 17.

Another Rajdhani Express between 12454/12453 New Delhi and Ranchi will have one second AC class and one third AC class coach for passengers. This arrangement has been done till March 16 for the train between Ranchi and Delhi and March 14 for the train between Delhi and Ranchi.

Train number 15015/15016 Gorakhpur-Yashwantpur Express now has one extra third AC bogie. This is a permanent arrangement. The extra coach was added to the train from March 7.
