Title - Special trains for Kumbh Mela

A pair of weekly special Express trains will be run by the East Coast Railway from Visakhapatnam to Allahabad to clear the extra rush of passengers for the Kumbh Mela at Prayag.

The special trains will make nine trips in each direction. Train no. 08575 will leave Visakhapatnam at 9:30 a.m. on January 26 and 31, February 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21 and 25 and reach Allahabad on the following days at 9:30 a.m.

In the return direction, train no. 08576 will leave Allahabad at 1:15 p.m. (afternoon) on January 27 and February 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22 and 26 and will reach Visakhapatnam at 1:45 p.m. (afternoon) on the following days, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division M. Yelvender Yadav.

These pair of trains will have stoppages at Simhachalam, Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Raipur, Bhatapara, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Anuppur Junction, Shashdol, Umaria, Katni Junction, Maihar, Satna and Manikpur Junction in both directions.

Last trip

The last trip from Visakhapatnam will be on February 25, and from Allahabad on February 26.
