Title - SCR Special Trains for Diwali between Sec’bd – Tirupati, Karimnagar – Tirupati

Hyderabad: Come Diwali and it almost become impossible to get a seat or berth in the Trains owing to heavy rush.  Every year Railways provide extra coaches in trains or introduced special trains to tackle the rush.  South Central Railway informed that 16 special trains are being run to the requirements of passenger for Diwali festival.  These special trains will run between Secunderabad  and Tirupati, Tirupati and Karimnagar.

South Central Railway special train no. 02270 Secunderabad – Tirupati leaves Secunderabad at 9.40 pm on 8th , 15th, 22nd and 29th, November, 2012.  It reaches Tirupati on the next day at 10.35 am.  In the return journey the Train number 02760 leaves Tirupati on 11th, 18th, 25th November and 2nd December, 2012 at 3.10 pm and reach Secunderabad on the next day morning at 4.40 am.  These special trains will stop at Kachiguda, Mahboobnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool town, Done, Gutti, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Kadiri, Mulakala Cheruvu, Madanapalli, Kalikiri, Pileru and Pakala railway stations.

Another special train that will run by South Central Railway for Diwali is train no. 02762 that runs between Karimnagar and Tirupati.  This leaves Karimnagar on 10th, 17th, 24th November and 1st December, 2012 dates at 6.50 pm and reaches Tirupati on the next day at 8.35 am.  In the return journey Train no. 02761 special train will leave Tirupati on 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th dates at 4.45 pm and reach Karimnagar the next day at 4.25 am.  This train halts at Peddapalli, Jammikunta, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta stations.

South Central Railway CPRO K. Sambasiva Rao informed  that 16 special trains are being introduced for Diwali for the convenience of the passengers and requested the passengers to utilize these services and make their journey comfortable by reserving their tickets in advance to avoid rush.  These special trains will have a total of 16 coaches – four general second class coaches, one AC II tier and one III tier coach, eight sleeper class coaches and two second class luggage coaches.
