Title - Railway facelift sought in UT - The New Indian Express

The Puducherry government has urged the Southern Railway to take steps to improve facilities at the existing Puducherry Railway Station and develop the Puducherry-Villupuram section.

During a visit by the Southern Railway General Manager, A K Mittal, to the station, the Additional Secretary and Transport Commissioner, S D Sundaresan, who is also the nodal officer for Railways, and Gopal Dalmia, member of Puducherry Rail Projects Coordination Committee, put forth these demands before Mittal.
