Title - Purandeswari seeks luxury coaches

Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry D. Purandeswari has sought Central financial assistance for procurement of two luxury rail coaches for Visakhapatnam to Araku package tour.In a letter to Union Tourism Minister K. Chiranjeevi, she noted that refurbishing and remodelling of each of the rail coaches would cost around Rs. 2.5 crore and sought Rs. 5 crore for the two coaches. She noted that the Special Chief Secretary to the Government of AP (Tourism and Culture) has already addressed a letter to the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.
