Bhubaneswar: In view to avoid rush in Puri-New Delhi-Puri Neelachal Express, Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Express and Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur, East Coast Railway has augmented additional coaches in these trains by creating additional berths.

12875 Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Express, 18496 Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram Express and 18507 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express have been augmented with One Sleeper Class coach each on 21st September 2012.

In the return direction, 12876 New Delhi-Puri Neelachal Express and 18495 Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Express have been augmented with one Sleeper Class each on 23rd September 2012 from their originating stations.

Similarly, 18508 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach on 26th September 2012 from Amritsar.

In view to avoid rush in Puri-Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express and Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur, East Coast Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in these two trains on permanent basis by creating additional berths for the benefit of the commuters. 18477/18478 Puri-Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express will be augmented with Two Sleeper Class Coaches with effect from 25th September 2012 from Puri and with effect from 28th September 2012 from Haridwar.

On permanent augmentation, this train will run with 12 sleeper class, one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tiers, three general second class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans and one pantry car in its composition.

18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur will be augmented with one sleeper class coach with effect from 27th September 2012 from Visakhapatnam and with effect from 30th September 2012 from Amritsar.

On permanent augmentation, this train will run with one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class, five general second class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans, one pantry car and one parcel van in its composition.
