A newborn girl child was found in a shopping bag at Chennai Central Railway Station on Wednesday evening.Police said some commuters heard the cries of a baby from a shopping bag that was lying on platform number four. They opened it and found the child who has a deformity on the upper lip.Government Railway Police inspector S. Sekar rushed the baby to the government children's hospital in Egmore.
