Title - Kotla to hold meeting on AP’s pending railway projects

Hyderabad, Dec 3 : Union Minister of State for Railways Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy on Monday admitted of injustice to the railway projects of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan after meeting Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana, the union minister said that several railway projects in the State have been delayed for various factors. However, he said he would take immediate steps to hasten the completion of projects. He also informed that he would soon convene a meeting with the elected representatives of State to discuss the pending railway projects of the State.
Suryaprakash Reddy also claimed that the Congress party would come back to power in 2014 elections. He denied of any groupism in the State Congress and said that all leaders were working unitedly to implement the welfare schemes of both the State and Central Government.
Later, the union minister inaugurated the chamber of L Venkatswamy, Chairman of Legislative Committee on Scheduled Castes Welfare in the Assembly premises. Talking to media persons on the occasion, he said that the SC, ST Sub-Plan Bill was a great achievement of Congress party. Praising Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy under the leadership of Congress president Sonia Gandhi has made Andhra Pradesh a model State in the empowerment of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Suryaprakash Reddy also said that the proposal to introduce Sub-Plans for Minorities and Backward Classes was under the active consideration of Congress Government.
Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikaramaka, Ministers – S Sailajanath and Kondru Murali, Government Whip Rudraraju Padmaraju, MLC MS Prabhakar and others were also present on the occasion.
