Title - KK Railway line to resume traffic today

Rail services that had been suspended due to the derailing of  wagons of a goods train are expected to resume normalcy today.  The rail traffic on the KK Line came to a screeching halt when  wagons of a goods train carrying iron ore derailed near Tarliput railway station on Wednesday. Due to the hilly terrain, the repair works have been greatly affected.   According to the emerging reports, senior officials of the Railway including Divisional Railway Manager had reached the site to oversee the repair woks. The railway officials informed that five wagons of the goods train had entered into the tunnel and efforts to remove the wagons are underway.   Railway traffic on the busy route is expected to return to normalcy by Friday night. Large number of workers have been moved to the site as the war like efforts to resume the rail services is underway.
