Title - Jaipur-Chandigarh Shatabdi via Rewari sought

Chandigarh : Power Minister Ajay Yadav today urged Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal to start a new Shatabdi between Jaipur to Chandigarh via Rewari and Rohtak.Yadav also demanded that the Rewari junction should be attached to the Delhi Zone instead of Jaipur division.Other demands put forth by Yadav included the construction of a railway line from Rewari to Palwal, declaration of Rewari junction as a terminal station or adarsh railway station, extension of Ekta Express running between Chandigarh and Bhiwani up to Rewari. He has asked for a halt of the Delhi-Jaipur double-decker express and the Delhi-Ahmedabad Rajdhani at Rewari and to increase the frequency of passenger trains.
