INTRODUCTION OF SAINAGAR SHIRDI - VISAKHAPATNAM WEEKLY TRAIN

Railways have decided to run A new weekly superfast express train between Sainagar Shirdi  and Visakhapatnam via- Vijaywada – Secunderabad – Mnamad - Puntamba with effect from 20.12.2012 Ex Vishakhapatnam and 21.12.2012 Ex Sainagar Shirdi.

However the inaugural special will run as 02801 leaving Vishakhapatnam at 18.00 hrs o­n Saturday 15.12.2012 and will run o­n open fast timings. In return also the train 02802 will run as special train leaving Sainagar Shirdi at 19.10 hrs i.e. regular timing o­n 16.12.2012. In both the direction train will run with stoppages of 22801/22802 Vishakhapatnam – Sainagar Shirdi – Vishakhapatnam weekly Express. The details are as under:

22801 Weekly Superfast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 09.10 hrs o­n every Thursday w.e.f. 20.12.2012 and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 12.15 hrs next day.

22802 Weekly Superfast Express will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 19.10 hrs o­n every Friday w.e.f. 21.12.2012 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 22.20 hrs next day.

Halts:      Duvvada, Ankapalli, Ellamanchi, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Purna Jn., Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad Jn., Kopargaon and Puntamba.

Composition:      o­ne AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s brake vans

RESERVATION: Bookings for train No. 22802 will open from 13.12.2012.
