Title - ECoR to run special trains to Allahabad for Kumbha Mela

In view to avoid rush in regular trains towards Allahabad and to provide comfort journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to run a pair of Special Train between Visakhapatnam and Allahabad via Titlagarh o­n nominated days.

08575/08576 Visakhapatnam-Allahabad-Visakhapatnam Kumbha Mela Special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 09.30hrs o­n 26th & 31st January, 4th, 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st and 25th February 2013 and will arrive at Allahabad at 09.30hrs o­n the following days. In the return direction, Allahabad-Visakhapatnam Kumbha Mela Special will leave Allahabad at 13.45hrs o­n 27th January, 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 19th, 22nd and 26th February 2013 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 13.45hrs o­n the next days.

Visakhapatnam-Allahabad-Visakhapatnam Kumbha Mela Special train will stop at Simhachalam, Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Bagbahra, Mahasamund, Raipur, Bhatapara, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Maihar, Satna and Manikpur between Visakhapatnam and Allahabad having o­ne AC-2 tier, o­ne AC-3 tier, Eight Sleeper Classes, Four General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition.
