Title - Dense fog hits air, rail traffic in north India

New Delhi: Air and Rail traffic were badly hit Monday morning as dense fog engulfed northern India.

Air and Rail passengers are facing a harrowing time as around 10 flights and more than hundred trains are running late.

As dense fog engulfed the airport area visibility was down to zero on runaways. Reports suggest that airport authorities have cancelled three flights including one international and two domestic. Ten other flights are running late.

More than 100 trains are running late in northern India due to the dense fog. Many trains were reaching Delhi between 12 to 22 hours late and the worst affected was the busy Delhi-Howrah route.
