Title - Chandigarh gets its third Shatabdi Express

After a long wait Chandigarh gets its third Shatabdi Express which went rolling on Monday between city beautiful and New Delhi without any stoppage.

The train will reach New Delhi in 3 hours 20 minutes, 12 minutes before Kalaka Shatabdi which was started in the year 1994.

This is an afternoon train which will leave Chandigarh at 11:40 am and from New Delhi it will leave at 7:15 pm with no stops in the way. Currently Kalka Shatabdi has three stoppages namely Ambala, Kurukshetra and Panipat.

However the fare of the new afternoon Shatabdi will be higher than the other Shatabdi as Lunch and Dinner will be served to the passengers, the price of which will be included in the all inclusive fare.
