Title - Central Railway services disrupted

Central Railway services on the main line were disrupted following a rail fracture between Kurla and Sion Railway station here today.

According to official sources here, at around 0830 hrs between Kurla and Sion stations, services of Up fast got a fracture, resulting in train services running behind schedule.

Train services were restored at around 1005 hrs. During the period, 19 Up fast suburban services were diverted between Vikhroli-Matunga on Up slow line.

In all, 18 suburban services were cancelled. However, Harbour line services were running as per schedule, sources added.
