NAGPUR: Anti-corruption wing of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in coordination with vigilance department of the railways, carried out surprise checks at the offices of the ticket agents in different parts of the city. The exercise was conducted in view of heavy demand for reserved tickets during Diwali vacation.CBI and vigilance team stormed six private premises after receiving tip-off that the provision of e-ticketing is being grossly misused by the agents who are using the internet facilities to reserve berths during this heavy rush season.
