Title - Brundamal-J’suguda rly double line opened

A double railway line between Brundamal and Jharsuguda Road measuring 4 km in the Sambalpur-Jharsuguda route was commissioned on Monday for goods and passenger trains after the completion of all related works.

Commissioner of Railway Safety, South Eastern Circle, Sudarsan Nayak inspected the new line in the presence of Chief Administrative Officer Omkar Singh and Sambalpur DRM Ashok Kumar Gupta.

Still a major portion of around 15 km and a bridge over river Kherwal in this 48-km route are yet to be completed. Only three pillars of the bridge have been completed.
