Title - Priority to be given to Tatkal quota in additional coaches

The Western Railway has announced that priority will be given to wait- list passengers of Tatkal category in the coaches added in some trains. Most trains starting from Indore have long waiting lists and the railway authorities are planning to add some coaches in these trains. In case an additional coach is added in a train then the preference would be given to those who have Tatkal waiting list and after that normal reservations would be cleared.

Tatkal reservations are more profitable to the railways then the normal reservations and this is why the railways takes initiative of clearing Tatkal reservations. On Monday, officers of Western Railway visited Indore railway station and also had discussion with local officials. PRO Pradeep Sharma stated that the railway has already implemented the new move.
