The Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation website continues to be under pressure, much to the chagrin of passengers who could not book tickets online for about 10 minutes on Wednesday.The website flunked following a network glitch attributed to the continued festival rush for about a week. Adding to the pressure is the demand for tickets from those wanting to celebrate Chhat Puja back home.The IRCTC website choked a number of times in the run-up to Diwali with people trying desperately to book tickets to go home. On Wednesday, the website collapsed soon after Tatkal ticket booking started at 10 a.m. but was restored after 10 minutes.
