Title - : Train services disrupted

The snapping of the link between two wagons necessitated the abrupt halting of a goods train at Alapakkam near here on Monday. As a result, the goods train, on its way from Nagore to Villupuram, got struck in the track disrupting the train services. The technicians deployed by the Southern Railway took two hours to set right the problem. The Cholan Express on either way (from Tiruchy to Chennai and vice-versa) was therefore delayed by two hours.
