Title - : Special trains for festive season

To clear extra rush of passengers during ensuing  Durga Puja season and to provide better comfort to travelling public, Railways have decided to run  the weekly special express train services between Santragachi and Yeswantpur.

 Train No. 08003 Santragachi-Yeswantpur super-fast express will leave Santragachi on Saturday ( October 13) at 8.45 a.m., will arrive in Visakhapatnam on same day at 10.35 p.m. and leave at 10.55 p.m. and will reach Yeswantpur at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

 And train No. 08004 Yeswantpur-Santragachi super-fast express will leave Yeswantpur at 8.20 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 15) and will arrive in Visakhapatnam at 10.20 p.m. on Tuesday and leave at 10.40 p.m. and reaches Santragachi at 12.10 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday.

 This pair of trains will have one AC 2-Tier, two AC 3 tier, nine Sleeper Class coaches, four General second class coaches and two second class-cum-Luggage compartments. En route this pair stops at Krishnarajapuram, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Vizianagaram, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Kharagpur.

 Chennai

Similarly, train No. 06029 Chennai Central-Shalimar super-fast express will leave Chennai Central on Mondays from October 15 to 29 at 00.30 hrs (midnight), will arrive Visakhapatnam on same day at 2.15 p.m. and leave at 2.35 p.m. and will reach Shalimar at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

 Train No.06030 Shalimar-Chennai Central super-fast express will leave Shalimar at 3 p.m. on Tuesdays from Oct. 16 to 30 and will arrive in Visakhapatnam at 4.45 a.m. on Wednesdays and leave at 5.10 a.m. to reaches Shalimar at 6.05 p.m. on Wednesdays.

 This pair of trains will have one First AC, one AC 2-Tier, Two AC 3 tier, six Sleeper Class coaches, six General second class coaches and two Second Class-cum- Luggage compartments.

 En route, this pair stops at Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur.

Tri-weekly      

            A new pair of tri-weekly express trains No.18212 Jagadalpur- Durg and No.18211 Durg-Jagadalpur would start at Jagdalpur from Wednesday. Chief Minister of Chhattishgarh Raman Singh will flag off the inaugural run of the Train No. No.18212 Jagadalpur-Durg at 2 p.m. at Jagdalpur Railway station on Wednesday.

This pair of train will have one AC 2-Tier, One AC 3 tier, Four Sleeper Class coaches, Six General second class coaches and two Second Class cum Luggage / Physically challenged compartments.
