Patna: Bihar police was shocked when they discovered that a hermit-like person on a train was found to be carrying lakhs of rupees in a bag. Patna police had received a tip-off about a suspicious person travelling in the Sampurn Kranti Express from Patna to Delhi. Patna GRP got the man off the train in Danapur.

When checked, it was found that the man, Delhi's Laxmi Nagar resident Rishabh Kumar Sogani, was carrying bundles of five and ten rupee notes to the tune of Rs 2.63 lakhs. DSP Sanjay Kumar  said that the police found his movement suspicious and had him deboarded off the train.

When his belongings were checked it was found that the man dressed in tatters and rags was actually a dealer of old, torn currency notes. He said he was enroute to Delhi from Patna with the currency notes. He claimed he sells them off at high price in Delhi.
