Nashik : The Railway Board has given its in-principle nod to the 350-km-long proposed Manmad-Indore broad gauge railway project. BJP MP from Dhule Pratap Sonawane, who received a letter to this effect from the board, told this to reporters here today. There has been a long-pending demand for a rail-route between Manmad and Indore via Malegaon, Dhule, Shirpur, Sindhwava, Mhow, he said. He added that following the green signal, work on this rail route is likely to begin soon.
